My full name is Eva Roosmarijn, but I bring out all my art under Eva Rosa. I’m a 19-year-old girl based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I illustrate most of the time, but I also do portrait photography, because I love (still) images that tell a story, like a movie scene.

I have a C1-Cambridge certificate. My goal is to become a well known creative artist, so I can use my platform to inspire people and raise awareness about important issues: climate change, systematic racism, sexism, animal cruelty and much, much more.

If you’re interested in following me on any of my socials, you are more than welcome to do so! Follow me on Instagram, Spotify, Pinterest and/or YouTube.

A motive I see coming back more and more often in my own work is use of bright colors, specific lighting and nature. I have also become interested in spirituality lately and I would love to pursue this further into my art. I like making psychedelic illustrations and paintings. I never really get political, but when I do, I talk most about tackling racism, animal cruelty and climate change.

Currently I’m working on a few things at a time, one of them being a number of illustration projects.

I believe you’re never done learning, because you grow and develop as you live. This is why I haven’t settled on one art medium, and I don’t know if I ever will.
