Eva Roosmarijn Schelvis (b. 2001, Rotterdam, The Netherlands) is a Rotterdam-based visual artist who creates images based on everyday life and situations she finds herself in. She seeks to visualize moments, objects, things or people you might not pay attention to ordinarily. Schelvis’ work is a tool to enable looking at the world through someone else’s eyes, paying attention to small details, stepping out of your own mind. She has always found herself in drawing and photographing, but lately has been experimenting with paints as well.
Currently studying BA Illustration in Rotterdam, but has a Visual Design degree (2021) and a Cambridge C1 certificate (2020).
